Privacy Policy

We take care of your privacy and data security. Below we explain what data we collect, for what purpose we process it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

1. General information

  1. This policy applies to the website operating at the url: profito.pl
  2. The operator of the website and the Controller of personal data is: Aneta Słabosz, Powstańców 61, 31-422 Kraków

  4. The Operator is the Controller of your personal data with regard to data provided voluntarily in the Service.
  5. The Service uses personal data for the following purposes:
    • Handling enquiries via the contact form
  6. The Service collects information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
    1. Through data voluntarily entered in forms, which is entered into the Operator’s systems.
    2. Through saving cookie files on end devices (so-called “cookies”).

2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

  1. Login and personal data entry areas are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login credentials entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
  2. Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator holding the key can read it. This protects the data in the event of the database being stolen from the server.
  3. An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.

3. Hosting

  2. The hosting company, in order to ensure technical reliability, maintains logs at the server level. The following may be recorded:
    • resources identified by URL (addresses of requested resources – pages, files),
    • time of request arrival,
    • time of response transmission,
    • client station name – identification carried out via the HTTP protocol,
    • information about errors that occurred during HTTP transactions,
    • the URL of the page previously visited by the user (referrer link) – in cases where the user accessed the Service via a link,
    • information about the user’s browser,
    • information about the IP address,
    • diagnostic information related to the process of independently ordering services via registrars on the website,
    • information related to the handling of electronic mail directed to the Operator and sent by the Operator.

4. Your rights and additional information on how data is used

  1. In certain situations, the Controller has the right to pass your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to fulfil obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to the following categories of recipients:
    • companies providing marketing services on behalf of the Controller
  2. Your personal data is processed by the Controller no longer than is necessary to carry out the related activities specified by separate regulations (e.g. accounting regulations). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
  3. You have the right to request from the Controller:
    • access to your personal data,
    • rectification of your data,
    • erasure of your data,
    • restriction of processing,
    • and data portability.
  4. You have the right to lodge an objection regarding the processing referred to in point 3.2 against the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing the legitimate interests of the Controller, including profiling, provided that the right to object cannot be exercised where there are valid, legally justified grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, pursuit or defence of claims.
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the Controller’s actions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the Service to function.
  7. Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be carried out in relation to you for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of the Controller conducting direct marketing.
  8. Personal data is not transferred from third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means that we do not send it outside the European Union.

5. Information in forms

  1. The Service collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if such data is provided.
  2. The Service may save information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
  3. In some cases, the Service may save information that facilitates linking the data in a form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s email address appears within the URL of the page containing the form.
  4. Data provided in a form is processed for the purpose arising from the function of the specific form, e.g. for the purpose of handling a service request or commercial contact, registering services, etc. In each case, the context and description of the form clearly indicate what it is used for.

6. Administrator logs

  1. Information about user behaviour in the Service may be subject to logging. This data is used for the purpose of administering the Service.

7. Relevant marketing techniques

  1. The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The Operator does not transmit personal data to the operator of this service, but only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. With regard to information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information derived from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  2. The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that the Facebook service (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) knows that a person registered on it is using the Service. In this case it is based on data for which Facebook itself is the controller; the Operator does not transmit any additional personal data to the Facebook service. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.

8. Information about cookies

  1. The Service uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are data files, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for use with the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the duration of their storage on the end device and a unique number.
  3. The entity placing cookies on the end device of the Service User and accessing them is the operator of the Service.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. maintaining the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not need to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service;
    2. fulfilling the purposes specified above in the section “Relevant marketing techniques”;
  5. The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until they log out, leave the website or close the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the period specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
  6. Web browsing software (a web browser) typically allows cookies to be stored on the User’s end device by default. Service Users can change their settings in this regard. A web browser allows cookies to be deleted. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the help section or documentation of the web browser.
  7. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service’s websites.
  8. Cookies placed on the end device of the Service User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Service operator, in particular this applies to the following companies: Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).

9. Managing cookies – how to give and withdraw consent in practice?

  1. If the user does not want to receive cookies, they can change their browser settings. We reserve that disabling cookies necessary for authentication processes, security and maintaining user preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases may make it impossible, to use websites.
